“Do you think we’ll need more batteries honey?”
“I think they should suffice our requirement and last a
couple of months”
“But I still can’t believe John is doing this to us! We’re
his parents!”
“I don’t know what to say. I think it’ll be just you and me
and other people like us in the old age home”
“Our son has abandoned us John. I’m so sorry!”
“Why are you being sorry? At least we have each other. And
these batteries, which are going to
be there to support our hobby. Listening music together and dancing on its beat”

“O let’s drive that beauty! It’s my dream. Open air, right
under the sky, I long, to be with giant wheels and a big steering, the kind of
vehicles, they drive in movies. And now its right in front of me, calling me to
touch it, sit on it, drive and feel it!”
“O shut up! You and your fantasies! Nobody’s driving it and
that’s final”
She smiled at what he
said, realizing her dreams never really meant! She took it in her hands, and drove
it really fast, till she crushed him to death, for interrupting her plans!

“Let’s go upstairs, sister”
“But why? Isn’t it fun, right here? Aren’t you enjoying with
me?”
“O, I am enjoying! Of course! But look above.. it looks
thrilling! It always is! I want to go up, really up in life too! It seems to
store so much of excitement. Climbing up the stairs, falling down from them and
then climbing them again! Touching the sky, going to the place where no one has
ever been. So much we can learn together, if only you say a yes!”
“Okay! Looks like you’re in no mood to change your mind! Come
‘on!”
Cheers
