X- Xenophobic

‘Meet Uncle Josh, he’s from Australia’

‘Where’s Australia?’

‘You want to go there? It has candies. You like them?’

Sanya was 5, when she first met a foreigner.

‘Mommy, can I go with Uncle... Pleeeezzz..!!’

‘Sure you can go, grow up and study there.’

‘Really? Thank you mommy!’

When Ajay was 18, his parents wanted him to apply for foreign universities. But he was reluctant. He didn’t want to go at all. He didn’t want to go anyplace concerned with foreigners.

Even if he thought of going, memories of Uncle Josh made him numb! Nasty memories that his uncle gave him!

  1. So sad and scary. Pedophiles are the biggest criminals. Be wary of strangers who offer candies!

  2. A former Speaker of the House (one of the highest positions in our government) just admitted to child molestation (years ago) in court. The judge said "some things can not be forgiven." I agree.

  4. That is really scary. A lot of children go through this and their parents do not know of it. How this child developed xenophobia after being abused, this could have happened in reality with someone too!

  5. What a sad story - so many foreign students come to Australia to study - it's a shame that Uncle Horrible stole that opportunity away. Leanne @ cresting the hill
