Alarm rings...
‘Damn! I want to sleep a little more’
After an hour...
‘O fish! It’s 9.00! My parents will be here soon!’
I got up, rummaged my wardrobe, took shower and came out in 20 minutes. It’s so embarrassing. My parents are coming. I should have been up by 8, made breakfast, decorate tables, and be ready to welcome them. What will my mother-in-law think? She must be so annoyed.
Stupefied, I saw breakfast was ready, table was laid and preparations were done!
I could barely smile.
‘Don’t worry beta (child), it’s perfectly okay. And smile, your parents are coming.’
