It was a long tiring day
All nosy and full of fray.
Fenced by exams and its
preparations
Beleaguered by parents’
frustrations.
All he could think of, was the
companion next door,
As his day were more of eating
and studying and getting all bore.
Separated by walls, united by
phone
He would long day, just to hear
her loved filled tone!
His days were rosy
And nights he expected to be
cosy!
As the days passed by,
They built their castle so high
Just a word exchanged from here
to there
Fulfilled their purpose to love
and care!
They stayed through thick and
thin
Through the windy days, where
clouds were their kin.
They planted their love from a
distance,
That lasted a lifetime, for
instance!
He played the guitar, as she sang
the song
Both enjoyed their melodies that
lasted so long.
But a day came into their lives,
When they were surrounded only by
spies!
Their garden of love, which they
built with passion
Was all destroyed, only to be
repaired by a mason.
That thing which gave so much of
soothe and ease to each other
Was now a cause of misery for
them if used further.
But deep inside his heart
He knew he could never be apart
From her, who gave him everything
Or the wire whose praises he
would always sing!
