When I was born in this world
I knew it would be beautiful
What I did not know was
There's already a superman
To protect me from all the woes!
When I was a kid
I just hoped to play in sand and mud
But you my dad..
Gave me all the goodies
And spoilt me like a brat! :P
I remember I couldn't speak complete sentences
But you were always there to give meaning to my broken syllables!
You made me strong
You made me brave
You gave me courage
To fight the world with pride and rage!
You're sedulous
You're an altruist
You're simply impeccable with your work
And how can I forget your quality of making others laugh without taking breaks.
When you step out of the house
People praise you for your jolly nature
You make them laugh
Till they hold their stomachs!
You're like a magic man
Who just takes out a stick and vanishes world's problems!
Everyone loves you
Everyone follows you
The way you entertain them
Everyone wishes just to be like you.
Where everyone wishes to be like you
I feel God has made me a true replica of you!
Being your true replica
Gives me the bliss of having a part of you.
The passion you have for your work
And the love for my mother
The pain you take for your children
The distant miles you run, just to see your daughters for a moment
Is simply inexplicable
Makes me feel you're not just my dad
But a heavenly power from above!
Every word that I write in your honour
Will always fall short for your loving kind nature!
