--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Haiku is a traditional form of a Japanese poetry that consists of 3 lines, following a 5-7-5 syllable rule (first and third line 5 syllables, middle line 7 syllables). They don’t necessarily have to rhyme.
There used to be an annual blogging challenge in the United States - posting each day for a month. There were several theme months and one of them was writing haiku. It was so much fun - and it's more difficult than you might think. (Lovely head covering, too.)
