10 Things I do when Husband is in NOT in town :P

Print

1. Make room a mess and bed... messier

2. Go to your mom’s place or any relative’s place you have in town and come back at an unusual time... Late!

3. Go shopping. Not that you don’t shop when he’s in town, but roaming on the streets for no reason feels like spinster again :D

4. Invite your girls over and spend the day chit-chatting.

5. Turn off the TV. Forever. And feel the joy!

6. Play loud music in the room.. to an extent that neighbours’ eardrums are ready to burst.

7. Sleep on the bed with your laptop, books, phone, fritters and what not! (without worrying about cleaning it all up)

8. Be a mess

9. Late night phone conversation with your bestie without the fear of raising your voice.

10. Munching all the junk, as it already becomes #National Cooking Holiday Day :D :P

P.S: As much happy as I sound regarding my husband’s absence, I equally love him and miss him at the same time. I know it sounds weird but that is how it is.

I dance with joy once he's home ;)

No matter how much I enjoy without him, but I always want him around J

Tell me what do you do when your husband is not around? Anything that I can add to my list? :P

I know you know by now he’s not home right now :P

  1. What a fun time you have when your guy's not home!
I do a bit of the same stuff that you do. First of all, I don't cook! What a relief that is, isn't it? Just eat whatever's there in the fridge! I laze around without bothering to clean up the rooms. Laundry piles high! But who cares? I also have a peg or two of my fav vodka, with some good music for company. Watch TV like crazy, chat with mom over the phone ten times a day, and also with my friends. Have my bff over and have invigorating gossip sessions! Umm, that's about it. Not much for you to add to your list, though. But, yes, when hub is back home, it feels great!

    1. Isn't it already enough that we do? And it's so much fun no? Vodka sounds good though... but I stay with my in-laws, can't do that! They'll curb their son from going and will not leave me alone... ever :P

      Glad you could relate.

  2. Lol! Geets What an absolute fun post. I completely identify with the mess and the no-TV - such a relief that is. However since mine has to be away for long periods these days it's not much fun any longer. Husbands need to be around more often so that we can enjoy their absence, isn't it?

    1. Yes..!! I know. I mean it sounds fun as long as we don't miss them too much! If they'l be gone for too long, it won't remain as much fun, right?

      Thanks a ton Tulika :)
