Maa..

Print
Dear Maa,

I wanted to do this long back.. just didn’t get the right time. I know you know all of it. But still, to let you know that you are the most wonderful women in the world!

I have always been a good child :P..  na.. no kidding.. you gotta admit that.. I didn’t cry for any unnecessary stuff that other children use to crib for. Though I was quite handy later.  Most of the people around me say that m like dad.. and yes.. I do have few of his traits.. but sometimes I relate to you more. Your patience in everything, the way you handle the most difficult situation in the family.. I wish I could have that art! The million dollar smile that you wear on your face even in the most painful moments are few of the attributes which make you my super hero!

I remember the time when we shifted to our new house.. everyone in the society use to compliment you for your perfect skin.. Nobody believed you had three grown up children! And how can I forget the outstanding food that you cook! From dad’s clients to all the neighbors, from our friends to all the relatives we have in the world.. everyone is a fan of your cooking!

You forget all your problems and cross all the boundaries.. go out of your way to do things for us. Makes me feel how lucky I am!

I remember when my wedding date was coming near. As the days were passing by, I was realizing you won’t be there every day to wake me up.. you won’t be around me 24*7, I won’t be able to come to you whenever I would want to! God.. my I was filled with so many emotions. Tears were just ready to spill any moment and how much I use to avoid eye contact with you. I couldn’t do it every day and so one fine morning I simply broke in front of you. Even you held yourself strong until that moment when we both busted into tears and gave each other a nice warm hug! I really miss you.

Your smile and your happiness is the most important thing to me. No matter how much I praise you.. words will always fall short to describe what you mean to me!

Love you loads
